HOW DOES PAWNING MY ITEM WORK?

A pawn loan is basically a loan where you give us collateral for the amount we give you.

Once the transaction is complete, you will pay monthly installments plus a set amount of interest to get your items back into your possession. 

If you are unable to pay on your loan, you may default on that loan and not receive your item back. Our associates work with you to the best of our ability to make sure this doesn't happen.

HOW MUCH SHOULD I EXPECT FOR A LOAN ON MY ITEM?

This entirely depends on the type of item and the condition it's in, and what is popular in the area.

Our associates will determine an appraisal value and give a fair price based on that value. This could be anywhere from $5 on up.

DOES J&K PAWN TAKE IN STOLEN ITEMS?

We work with state and local authorities, as well as community tip-offs to screen everything that comes into our stores. If items are found to be stolen, we get in touch with local authorities and hand over the items for their investigation.

About 80% of all pawn loans are repaid, and items are only forfeited if the owner refuses to pay the loan or if we are unable to contact the owner for longer than 60 days to make a payment.

HOW DO YOU VALUE JEWELRY?

We determine the value of your jewelry based on the total weight of the gold, as well as the purity.

No doubt about that! We have a 24/7 security and surveillance system in place in our climate-controlled atmosphere.
